🎉 A new free family event is coming to Taipei! The 2026 Microbiome Carnival: Microbes and Health Expo will take place on January 17–18, 2026 at Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2, 7F. This is Taiwan's first big event that combines science talks × family interactive games × booth stamp rally, and it's free entry. Join us to explore the amazing world of microbes!

There will be 6 public science talks designed for audiences aged 15 and up. The first 2 speakers are:
- Prof. Chun-Yao Chen, Tzu Chi University (Hualien)｜The Intelligence War – We Listen to Bacteria, and They Listen to Us
- Dr. Wei-Kai Wu, National Taiwan University Hospital｜Gut Microbes and the Secrets of Our Body

🔹 Two Interactive Zones
- 👩👩👧👦 Life Zone
Explore microbes in the human body, food, and environment. Enjoy puzzles, videos, and DIY microbe badges to take home! This zone is designed by professors from MacKay Medical University, I-Shou University, E-Da Hospital, and National Sun Yat-sen University School of Medicine, who are experienced in creating fun science activities for the public. - 🧪 Lab Zone
Planned by the Creative Life Science Co., LTD., this zone has 5 checkpoints to explore the world of microbes. Learn what bacteria are, tell good ones from bad ones, discover why food gets moldy, understand how germs spread, and know why hygiene is important. With lab coats, culture plates, fun games, and quizzes, kids can finish the journey and earn their own Little Scientist Certificate!
